Patch Notes for Update 0.3.20.2405

Thank you for joining us for another week of updates for Revn. This week, we added a lot of art assets. Our priorities continue to be art, net-code & servers, and bug fixing. Of course, we will continue to balance weapons and abilities as issues arise through playtesting.

Xbox style control input is now partially supported. Not all systems are working with a controller yet (especially the menus), there are no controller-specific input prompts, and controller layouts can not be remapped yet. However, we are working to support more ways for players to enjoy Revn, and this is the first step in that journey.

Here are the full patch notes for this update:

  1. New perimeter wall art assets
  2. Improved timing of grenade throwing animation
  3. Prototype for Ally Health Thumbnails (displays your allies’ health bars and usernames beneath the mini-map)
  4. Scaled down Lane Minion mesh by 10%
  5. Xbox style control input now partially supported
  6. Heavy Rocket Barrel changes:
    1. Damage to 16 (was 8)
    2. Splash Damage to 8 (was 5)
    3. Reload time to 3 seconds (was 4)
    4. Removed the critical multiplier modifier (was -40%)
  7. New art asset for player built floors
  8. Doubled intensity of skylight in Lane Map (brightened shadows)
  9. Added Mobility stats to all gun barrels:
    1. Pistols Set to 1.5
    2. Assault Rifles Set to 0.9
    3. Medium and Long Shotguns Set to 0.7
    4. Short Shotgun Barrel set to 1.2
    5. Sniper Barrel set to 0.8
    6. Standard Burst Barrel set to 1.0
    7. Triple Burst Barrel set to 1.0
  10. Some net-code events are now more reliable
  11. Orbital Strike Ability: Increased splash damage radius to 600 (was 400), and armor piercing now scales with ability as it levels up
  12. Reduced recoil on short barrel
  13. Darkened the gunmetal material for weapons
  14. Removed -25% ammo stat from Quick Mag (quick mag now only buffs reload speed, has no effect on ammo capacity)
  15. Fixed support point collider boxes for wall object
  16. Weapon Equip Times changed:
    1. Long Barrel to 1.1 (was 1.5)
    2. Long Shotgun to 1.1 (was 1.5)
    3. Medium Barrel to 1 (was 1.4)
    4. Medium Shotgun to 1 (was 1.3)
    5. Short Shotgun to 0.5 (was 0.8)
    6. Sniper to 1.2 (was 1.7)
    7. Standard Burst to 1 (was 1.6)
    8. Triple Burst to 1.1 (was 1.5)
  17. Build Zone Edge material now culls itself based on distance from camera
  18. New final objective art asset
  19. New scope meshes for 2x and 3x scopes
