The biggest feature in this patch is Drag & Drop crafting. We’ve wanted to add this for almost a year, and its finally here! We also added some new weapons, a new ability, and balanced some other abilities and items. Finally, as always, we worked on optimization to get you better frame rates and a more stable gameplay experience. Continue reading for full details on what’s in this patch.
- Fixed bug where stunned characters could use Jetpack to fly and break out of the stun status
- Fixed some bugs with hitboxes and projectile collision
- Fixed some UI bugs in Main Menu
- New ability – Gravity Missile
- This ability fires a projectile. When it explodes, enemies are pulled towards it and slowed for a short duration
- New “Feedback” button in Escape Menu links directly to our subreddit, r/Revn
- Exo Plating – Increased metal costs to (200,300,400,500,600,700) was (150,225,300,375,450,525)
- Improved Lobby UI
- New Drag & Drop crafting UI
- Players can now drag & drop to craft and organize their abilities and passive items
- Players can also double click on an item to craft it instead if they prefer
- Flamethrower ability – Burn Status duration increased to 5 seconds (was 2). Damage per tick increased to (3,5,7,9,11), was (1,2,3,4,5)
- HUD screen edge VFX flashes for shield (blue) damaged and health (red) damaged
- Fixed scaling of Pilot helmet cosmetic
- Possible fix for bug where host player wouldn’t track his average frame rate
- Created new Launcher weapon mods:
- Single Shot Heavy Core and Magazine (default option for Single Shot Heavy Core)
- Full Auto Fast Core (mini rockets)
- Extended Mag (for mini rockets Core)
- Fast Charging Shields:
- Metal cost increased to (100,150,200,250,300) was (50,100,150,200,250)
- Added shield stat of (25,30,35,40,45), was 0
- Regen Rate decreased from (2,4,6,8,10) to (2,3,4,5,6)
- Added new Flicker Glitch animation to buff pop up widget
- Fixed bugs with the Daily Challenge Earned rewards progress screen text showing up when it wasn’t supposed to.
- Performance optimizations for projectiles and healthbars
- Optimized some animation logic
- Added a “force garbage collection” button to Escape menu for testing purposes. This might help us find memory leaks during community playtests
- Added a check before adding icons to mini-map to make sure we don’t add duplicate icons. This seems to have greatly improved frame rates.
- Fixed collision on some stairs in City Map
