This patch upgrades the Revenant Bot AI. They will now attack enemy bases and can contribute to winning a match. It also balances shotguns and some other weapons, see Dev Blog 36 for more information about why we are making these changes.
- Revenant Bots will now attack Towers and Nexuses
- Revenant Bots will merge into the nearest lane and follow waypoints, which will allow them to attack enemy towers and the Nexus.
- Revenant Bots will choose to merge with wave minions in a lane and attack Towers and Nexus if team income is +3 or greater. Otherwise, they will farm resources.
- Damage Overload Ability – reduced weapon damage bonus to (5,10,15,20,25 %), was (+10,20,30,40,50 %)
- Weapon Damage Booster passive item – weapon damage bonus decreased to (+5, 10 15 20 25 30 %), was (+10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 %)
- Fixed bug where characters could deploy a drone while falling / jumping
- Dash ability now has particle VFX
- Fixed bug where shotgun bullets would destroy each other instead of flying towards enemies
- Lowered Target Dummy health and armor to more accurately match what players actually use
- Performance optimizations that should result in a slightly smoother frame rate for some players
- Demolition Implant – Armor piercing reduced to (1,2,3,4,5,6), was (3,5,7,9,11,13)
- Exoplating – Armor reduced to (2,3,4,5,6,7), was (1,3,5,7,9,11)
- Shotgun weapon changes:
- Removed armor piercing stat (was 2).
- Rate of fire increased to 150 (was 125).
- Damage per pellet increased to 5 (was 4).
- Number of pellets increased to 10 (was 9)
- Added system message when Ally Towers are destroyed.
- Tower starting armor reduced to 40 (was 45).
- Added system messages when Tower Armor is reduced at 10 minutes (to 20, was 30), at 15 minutes (to 15), and at 20 Minutes (to 10).
- Nanoweave Tier 5 reduced to 130 health (was 140)
- Fixed bug where some tiers of Energy Generator would give a small amount of Health.
- Slightly increased the radius of Shockwave, lowered the scale of the VFX so it feels more reliable
- Fixed bug “Going to Customize menu and then switching to another tab and back sets the Redeem Code button so you can not click ‘Back'”
- Fixed a bug with Landmine traps
- New Shock Trap
- Nexus will now regenerate 5 health per second after 120 seconds of not taking damage.
- Fixed “clicking on a Revenant Bot’s profile freezing the game”, might also fix infinite loading screens for viewing other player’s profiles.
- Added FOV video setting
