Dev Blog 16: Stylized Rendering

With the core gameplay ready to begin testing, we’re focusing more on creating a visual style for the game’s art and visuals. After some discussion, we’re looking at stylizing our textures and post processing effects. Our small art team currently isn’t equipped to produce a photo-realistic cyberpunk world. Instead, we’re exploring cel shading and other stylized techniques.

Here is a before-and-after comparison for the rendering style we’re developing. Keep in mind that this is very early prototyping and very much a work in progress.
