Patch Notes for Update 0.8.5

This week, we’ve added two new abilities to Revn, Grapple Hook and Thermal Vision. Check out all the patch notes below.

New Content

  1. Thermal Vision Ability – Activate to see enemy Revenants through walls
  2. Grapple Hook Ability
  3. New spray, the “JANK” spray

Stat Changes

  1. Updated all characters to 10x health, shields and armor
  2. Nexus health increased to 20,000 and Armor increased to 100
  3. Increased all weapon damage and armor piercing stats by 10x
  4. Resource pylon health now 1000 (was 200)
  5. Decreased Repulsor ability range to 10 meters (was 20 meters)
  6. Repulsor Stun Duration decreased to 0.5 second, was 1 second
  7. Repulsor cooldown changed to (20,19,18,17,16) was (20, 7, 6, 5, 4 seconds)
  8. Shockwave Ability radius increased to 10.5 meters (was 9)
  9. Heavy Rifle (LMG) default Rate of Fire now 400 (was 600)
    1. New “FAST CORE” gives Rate of Fire of 600 (gives +200 RoF), this was the previous standard rate of fire
    2. LMG Heavy Core now gives a -40 RPM RoF stat instead of -40% RoF (should be the same resulting RoF as before)
  10. Jetpack – Delay before Fuel Recharge incread to 8 (was 7 seconds)
  11. Jetpack – Metal Cost increased to (200,300,400,500,600), was (100,150,300,400,550)
  12. Increased all ability health, armor, shields, and damage stats by 10x
  13. Increased “Fire Grenade” tier IV splash damage from 250 to 280
  14. Team turret limit increased to 8 (was 6)
  15. Increased Nanoweave Metal cost to (200, 300, 400, 500, 600) was (50, 100, 200, 300, 400)
  16. Increased Medium Plating metal cost to (200, 300, 450, 550, 650), was (100, 150, 200, 250, 300)
  17. Health Regen Self metal cost increased to (300, 500, 700) was (150, 250, 350)
  18. Increased all passive item health, damage, armor, and shield stats by 10
  19. Increased trap armor by 25 and health by 500
  20. Decreased Tower armor to 98, 90, 80, 75 (initial, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes)
  21. Player health regen decreased to 2 (was 10)
  22. Medium Plating Shields stats increased to (100, 200, 300, 400, 500)
  23. Fast Shields increased to (500, 600, 700, 800, 900) Max Shields
  24. Fast Shields metal cost increased to (200,300,400,500,600)
  25. Heavy Shields increased Max Shields to (700, 850, 1000, 1150, 1300)
  26. Heavy Shields Metal Cost increased to (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000)

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed instant respawn sometimes not respawning the player
  2. Fixed some UI issues in Lobby
  3. Fixed players not being able to view their own profiles in a match or in the lobby
  4. Fixed incorrect turret and trap counts showing in the drone HUD
  5. Fixed not being able to change chat channels (global, team)

Miscellaneous

  1. The 15 second drone cooldown will now only activate if the player’s drone was shot down
  2. Added a scroll bar to the detailed news panel
  3. Reworked Force Field Fences (blue force fields) – They now have Shields that take damage and will be replenished 10 seconds after being destroyed.
  4. Terminal “trigger circle” now changes colors depending on who controls the terminal
  5. Fixed some aliasing on the position icons in lobby
  6. Characters now have a 5 second trap immunity after being hit with a trap
  7. New “casting time” system for abilities. Some abilities will take a moment to cast.
    1. Stun Charge has a casting time of 1 second
    2. More abilities will use Casting Time soon
  8. Damage Overload ability takes 5% of character’s max health every second instead of taking 5 Health
  9. Damage Overload ability now prevents any healing while the ability is active
  10. Updated many old ability icons
  11. Added exit button to equip spray ui
  12. Improved chat UI
